Maybe one can view 2009 as a waste but who knows what 2010 will bring.

Anyway to really estimate at this time. A bigger company, more contracts, prices unknown.

Net income before tax for the quarter was 320K. That would mean ~90K for taxes at a 28% rate (I thought they said 28% combined tax rate), which would put net at 230K, or .06/share. Let me know if that doesn't sound right, or how you came to the .04/share.

Overall, while they did over estimate earnings considerably, the solar division grew substantially yoy. It was the contract manufacturing division that was very sub-par. I think that the company will continue to grow it's solar division and the stock is too cheap at current levels. Not happy about the lack of transparency with guidance but I just don't think this is the level to be selling the stock.

Considering the announcement in June on the 8.8M contract of 3.8 MW's ($2.32/watt), why does $2.05 seem out of the question? That's relatively recent for huge price deterioration. I would expect demand to start picking up considerably as prices continue to fall also, which should help alleviate the oversupply. Price can only drop so much before solar becomes the obvious choice of power supply..
