Symmetricom Inc. (SYMM:US) slid 14 percent to $5.22 and tumbled 16 percent earlier, the most intraday since Dec. 1. The maker of communications products forecast first-quarter profit excluding some items at 6 cents a share at most. That trailed the 9-cent average estimate from analysts in a Bloomberg survey.
