OT:No Lee, you are the team that the rest of the nation giggles at because no team has gone longer without winning a world series, i would say there are few New Englanders still living that can remember Red Sox winning there LAST world series.
Your getting satisfaction at beating those "we buy teams" Yankees will change nothing in the Nation's mind's eye, Lee.
The Curse ends ONLY when you win a World Series or the nation will still giggle when thinking of the Red Sox, and also of the Cubs, for that matter.
Mind you the sentiment is for both you and Cubbies to end their curse(The Cubs curse being The Curse of The Goat).

BTW, i am a Schilling devotee---as he he pitched for years with the Phillies(the Phillies who be the one of the original ML teams that has the worst won-loss record when adding up the W-L record for all its history:)
