I have to agree with SM, this recent shift in direction to 330 degrees has me worried, especially for my daughter in Pennsacola.

The other thing is that if Ivan slows much more, it could go just about anywhere it wants. Yikes....

Hi zz,
In that case, you should prolly read Tolleris' latest report on the turn to the N and which ends with:

"It is still possible that Ivan could hit Pensacola but that is about as far east as I could possibly see. On the other hand I think a hit into New Orleans would require a continued northwest track through Tuesday in into Wednesday so that Ivan can gain a bit more longitude and that may be asking too much given THIS upper air wind analysis http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/tropic/real-time/atlantic/winds/wg8dlm6.html

Therefore we are left with the concern which the overnight Nogaps ETA European and even Canadian models which are now showing that as Ivan approaches some Louisiana around 89 or perhaps 90 degrees longitude he then turns to the right and makes a landfall somewhere along the Alabama coast. That's come in my forecasts and I think I'll stick to it at this point."
