KQ, I am with you on that. The .ir site was likely (definitely) a breach of distributor agreement only, and beyond that we don't know what is Ok or not. I was assuming all along that NanoFan is based on UAE and can sell to a company in Iran if they want to. I hope that NanoFan can still market to whomever their clients across the bay are. Pipes are pipes, and tanks are tanks.
Seeing as how there have been photos on the NanoFan website of a company (nansulate application) which if you Google it... has a presence in Iran.
