You know, I am not trying to change their mind as much and I can make them see a little of the other side. They will never admit in public, but they have to know as hopefully honest people there is another side and to flatly dismiss all other viewpoints is wrong.

And I do it to make sure they know WE'RE HERE and not going away and not letting them off the hook with DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO

I honestly hope that someday we can divide the states into regions of liberal/conservative and allow those to dwell in their own areas. You see, to me, the biggest BIGGEST difference between liberal and conservative is liberals will try to force thier agenda on everyone and conservatives, for the most part, are willing to give you a choice.

Here is my favorite example. Lets say religion. OK, according to liberals and the constitution there is freedom of religion here in America. Conservatives believe in choice, whatever type or NO TYPE your choice...... Beleive or not, worship or not up to you....

Now according to liberals and their agenda, its about ALL following a certain mandate.... So if conservatives changes and played by the same rules and agenda lets say when we are back in power we interpret the meaning of FREEDOM of RELIGION
is you can choose WHICH religion you choose to worship BUT you must worship, period. The govt will demand you worship its just you can pick which one...

Somewhat like gun control. According to a liberal the 2nd amendment applies to the military only, but to conservatives its the people. So, given that arguement, would they put up with conservatives DEMANDING all law abiding permitable person carry weapons to reduce crime rates. The key word, MADE TO CARRY A WEAPON by Republicans. Well, you get my drift

I was trying to find your posts where you were expressing your opinions about bush, you know, like you said - I voted for Bush and did NOT fall in line. There were things he did I totally went ballistic over and disagreed with entirely.

anyway ....still looking for your posts proving where you didn't 'fall in line' ...with bush & sure would like to read where you 'went ballistic over it ' ...could you help us all out ?............

Only thing i can conclude from your post is that you see yourself as a much nicer
person than Goldberg and since i don't know either of you, well i can't comment at all on that.

Do have a sense of feeling on it, but will be happy to sit with it. i have never seen her show.

Do agree that crass hypocrisy sucks, but not one of us has gone through life without some of it in our shadow.
