I do not think a big majority of people vote due to 'color' ... as people look, listen to what people stand for .......and of course, any politician must be ready for every thing he ever said any time to come up under scrutiny ... therefore, people make their choices as these things come out & they always come out ...
I read somewhere during the election cycle that if every AA voted for Obama in the election .... it still would not have given him the election ........anyway ..I'm saying RACE DID NOT WIN this past election for Obama .. ideas did and his past record of achievement ..Mccain's past words AND his voting record and his dumping his wife for a very beautiful RICH lady ... all these things ...."bomb bomb bomb Iran" .. hey ........people didn't want that - sheeesh .. two long wars neither of them finished in eight years .. . shaking my head .........what a sad record .. I would never ever come out in public again ......
It's by words and deeds ... and the wingers have just really outdone themselves with hatefulness this year and in the past .....remember that guy from VA. ? .. he was all set to win his race, his polls were up - heck I even think he might have been an incumbent or something -- he was a well like politician in Virginia ... I think his name was Allen .. george or something like that .. anyway , right there on camera at a political get together , guess what .. he treated a pakistani pretty shabbily ........that was the end for him - he was the loser ...........people saw & heard the words - and it equalled a deed - he took action ... . and he was just mean .....maybe racist .. I really do not remember all the details ..........my point is .....
This last election was a no brainer ... no way a winger was going to win ... no way , no way at all ..........just couldn't happen ..... and RACE had nothing at all to do with it ..the people were sick & tired of winger governance .... Jon Stewart would have beaten McCain easily or Rachel or Keith .. ;))
