OC,

one of the basic reasons they likely don't want to go through the discovery....is that it could lead to potentially some criminal charges. Once that damning info is in the public domain it's going to HAVE to be dealt w/. Avoidance of discovery, of course, is the only way to not deal w/ that.....

They will ask for Jamie Dimons phone records. That alone would probably be enough for JD to call it if he is the corrupt SOB that I believe he is.

You aren't asking the right question IMO.

OC seeing Sunshine's previous post regarding Bopfans statements, confirmed my thoughts that JPM wasn't afraid of a Motion to Compel or Motion for Sanctions. Although these appear scary to us, to a lawfirm they are nothing more than routine. It's a smack on the wrist. And the plaintiff complaining to the court that the other kid isn't doing what the adult said to do will only annoy our judge who will tell JPM to knock it off. Also, I would love nothing more than JPM to say "I quit, here's 70 billion. We aren't going to spend a few million hoping that something happens at the last moment to prevent us from having to pay billions." As I'm long on this and ready to retire when it hits, I've wished this since I loaded up in December. And, I'm nashing my teeth knowing that my limited litigation experience has let me know that I would see the defendants drag their feet kicking and screaming all the way through every court proceedings, even when they knew that they were going to lose. I'd love to see JPM rollover but I don't suspect they will until they've exhausted every legal manuever and our minds and nerves are rattled as they drag this out. I'm more than ready to write my check to the IRS for millions. I just wished that JPM cared(not a chance in hell) that there is the loyal band of IHUB followers gorging themselves on penny stocks and chomping at the bit to start living the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Unfortunely, JPM delays are pissing us off because we know that they know that they are going to lose, but they refuse to cry uncle until the last second. But OC, IMO there is nothing wrong with planning on winning in the end and wondering at the same what the other team has up their sleave as a defense and what the can/or cannot do to drag this out. I think that is called a good defense strategy.
