Ask yourself, “Why did Zenergy go public?”
It is the most basic question you need to answer about Zenergy. You can not understand what the company is doing or where it is going without the answer – Why did this company go public?
If there was some real deal on the horizon, the “founders” would not have gone public - less profit for founders.
If an angel or VC was ready to invest, the company would not have gone public – less control for the angel or VC.
If it was to raise capital by offering stock – NO, the company has no new offering.
Could the reason be an exit strategy for the “founders”? If they can push about 26 million shares onto new buyers, they recoup their investment and can then play on the house’s money. Sounds like a plan. About 16 million shares have traded since Zenergy took over.
