I feel sorry for the farmers and ranchers... our rice-farming kin didn't even put in a crop this year which was a first.
You've prolly heard the old joke about the cattle rancher who took 9 of his calves to a roadside park, put them in a make-shift pen with a sign for the public to help themselves as he couldn't afford to feed them anymore. When he returned after several hours hoping to find the pen empty...he found 12 calves.
