The book "Fortunate Son" referred to three people who claimed he was busted for cocaine in 1972, and daddy got him off.
Besides his natural irresponsibility, drug usage still stands as best reason why he didn't complete his guard duty. Other flyers have said the story he gave about not finishing his flight time is bogus. Can't fly when you are doing drugs. He didn't even take required physicals. Drug usage would have been on record then.
I don't know of anything he has told the truth about. Certainly don't buy the "hadn't done it in 25 years by y2k" storyline.
Ann Coulter and Bill O'Reilly are going to bring out books trying to help George in the next few weeks. When those are the people you have to defend you, you don't belong in office...
