I think he can get away with $2. Something else to keep in mind is that when TLM starts charging, almost everyone else will be too. The average person who sees this isn't going to want to disrupt their lives over $2 a month. They'll probably curse TLM for being a greedy s.o.b., whip out the CC, pony up and continue on like nothing's happened.
