$HUI briefly crossed under the 50ema late last year during the cataclysm affecting all equities, but quickly recovered.
$HUI has not been below the 200ema since early 2002, that's over 7 years.
I see further consolidation in the chart, first test being the 50ema as you have described. I would not be a buyer now.
