Justifying Iraq in an TV interview last night, Rush said Al Qaeda was in many countries, including So. Fla, USA. The Bushies might want to consider a pre-emptive strike against Florida, but not during hurricane season, of course. Such a strike would be entirely justified if the Iraq logic were applied.

No, because what was happening in Germany wasn't a characteristic of what was happening throughout the rest of Europe. Germany was driven by an insane leader. The Middle East is driven by many insane leaders, one of which is Saddam Hussein.

Are you actually arguing that the environment and mentality in the Middle East does not provoke people to join terror groups and declare religious jihad against any civilized nation? I kinda thought this was accepted fact, that the problems with the religious zealots and religious factions is what has spawned this region of terror.
