Amazing.

The whole damned ISP was out. Not just iHub's port. In case you didn't catch it earlier, the first indication of trouble I had was the loss of my own connection and I couldn't get it back.

iHub has only one machine connected to the internet. It uses one port of one router that's pretty far down the food chain. The outage was ISP-wide.

But you've twisted my arm and cornered me. Someone was out to get you. So they waited until you posted something you'd want to erase to make it seem you hadn't posted it, then they hacked one of KC's largest ISP's to knock out the router handling the whole ISP's connection to the Sprint network.

Will that work? I know it's hard to accept the simplest explanation, especially if unnecessarily complicating things to involve some kind of conspiracy will either absolve you of blame for something you did, or try to make something else into an even bigger issue.

Oh, and I think I'll use your approach and decree that though there are other programmers in existence, I'm a good one, therefore I'm the only competent one on the planet and all other programmers are utter hacks who can't write code to find their butts with both hands without my advice/assistance. <g>
