With more time and dialogue it may have worked. We say they are terrorists and they say the same about us. A line must be drawn somewhere to move forward with peace. War should not be a matter of choice, it should be a matter of necessity and when all other options have failed. It also sets a bad precedent, now we have saber rattling by Iran stating they will strike Israel first if they feel threatened. How can we keep them from doing what we just did? Invade? How about China and Taiwan? How about N.Korea and S.Korea? A lot can go wrong in a hurry and we set the bar low by invading Iraq. I think we are walking on thin ice and should have stuck to getting terrorists when we had the worlds sympathy. Iraq was not part of that equation, but you can bet your last dollar that they are now. Don't blow this off as rhetoric, I don't think people realize the can of worms that has been opened by invading Iraq. If (god forbid) Russia or China take up with the other side, we have WWIII on our hands. This is why dialogue comes first and war is a last resort. We are way past the dialogue stage under GW and I for one am very concerned...
