The shares are not "wiped out." The deletion is for the trading symbol only. The securities are being deleted because of the limited trading in the marketplace of these issues and/or the expiration of these securities. The deletion of the trading symbol has no effect on the shares held by shareholders of the companies listed on the Notice. If a firm needs to execute a trade in one of the symbols that has been deleted, the firm can send a request to FINRA and we will either re-instate the symbol or issue a new symbol for the company, whichever is applicable at the time of trade.
