who knows... when I was a kid going into a convenience store I always wanted a candy bar... now... you put something there that is going to be marketed towards them and that mothers and or fathers like as it helps get their kids to take baths... i don't see why it wouldn't sell...

Like I said I can see why people shop at a convenience store... and they don't just go to pick up candy bars on the road.. I know many people who go in and get a few grocery items or other things to tide them over... it is the type of impulse buy type item... which i think will do very well in any store it is at...

Sponge Bob will stand out more at an Xtramart than they will at Walmart (plus the per unit profit will probably be higher). They're pretty nice convenience stores, and there are a lot of them. In the same area that you'll find a single Walmart you'll find a dozen Xtramart's within a 20 mile radius.

Hopefully the placement is up by the register. Lots of impulse buys at convenience stores (I can hear the mom's "Oh that's cute, I'll bet the kids will love that"). No more fighting with the rug rats at bath time. The true meaning of convenience! I'm the father of a 5 year old who is allergic to soap and water, so I'll be buying a few myself.
