It wasn't okay. That beast is HEAVY!!! Second time I just couldn't get a good enough foot-hold (ice under the snow) and had to use a fast-idling 4-wheeler and tie-down strap to help me lift it.

You're not a crazy motorcyclist until you've dropped a Gold Wing in snow. Twice. In the same couple-hour span while trying real hard to get it onto a muddy gravel road so you can ride it to work while the temp's in the 30's.
Anyone learning to ride with a Valk as their first mount is insane! Way beyond riding motorcycles on ice (without spikes) insane. More stupid insane than crazy insane.
