Yeah Quiktdr, looks like it. I still don't understand about the prior bar though, I assumed that you could refer to the prior bar and it would only evaluate right after the previous half hour, i.e. 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, etc. While trying to confirm this, the guy I talked to told me that Bar[Close,30,1] also updated in real time just like the current bar. I don't remember the exact example I gave him, but the gist was, at 11:34, Bar[Close,30,1], would be for the 30 minutes ended at 11:04, and not 11:30, is that right? He indicated yes, which sounded odd to me. And he didn't have a solution for the problem either, he indicated that currently you could only trade in real time. This was in February. Maybe he wasn't very knowledgeable or I just didn't understand him.
Anyway, the bottom of the following article on the ADX talks about the EMA method and Wilder's method. Does anyone happen to know which method SD uses? I am assuming EMA, cause, you know, we also refuse to convert to the metric system and soccer, but it sounds like an important thing to know if you are gonna use the ADX.
