Hegemony means overwhelming politcal power. We have become less powerful because of invading Iraq. Our miltary force is drastically weakened. We have alienated every friend we had and we have embittered those who opposed us in the past. We have bankrupted our country. The Busheviks can toss around words like hegemony but they are clueless what it really means.
The more innocents are killed the greater the cost.
