RFQ's, proposals (contract negotiations), AFE's and contract manufacturing of new and innovative machinery strictly encompass engineering in the forefront. Getting the business in; sales engineering & marketing, getting the business out; engineering & manufacturing, keeping the business running; management, putting the cart before the horse; bad management. IMO
