So the status of the shares are in a very special situation.
I traded the shares of United Airlines when they were in BK and I made very good coin, flipping many times, because of the volitility. It was a lot of fun.
But in the end, when they exited BK, the United Airlines shares were retired and made worthless, as a new pool of shares were created by the BK process.
I AM NOT SAYING this will happen here, because I honestly don't know.
But I do know it is NOT a foregone conclusion that the shares will be worth anything.
And this is NOT up to the SEC; it is to be decided and ruled on by the judge.
By the way, I'm a shareholder too. And I'm also an ex-WaMu customer of over 20 years. I just closed my Chase account.
