SagDec15- I found that you need to widen your threshold for pain. 20% stop losses, and 30% targeted gains are what I'm trying to stick to. Thank goodness for FONR this month, LOL.

Sag,

You have to remember that the MMs are trading against you and they have the luxury of watching all of the trades. If you are using TA to time your trades, others are probably buying and selling using the same data.

IOW, when you are buying, in most cases, the MMs are naked shorting. When you are selling, they are covering.

IMHO, that's not how it was designed to work, but under current rules, that's the way it works.

So, the MMs sell short during a spike, and use any reason to walk the price back down so they can cover. And remember, they make money both ways. (whether you are buying or selling)

So, again IMHO, if I was a daytrader I would attempt to trade against the herd and not with them.

Make any sense?

Have fun,
Phil
