Personally, I don't think his iHub activities will be a linchpin of the case against him (although they could be).
In fact, I'm guessing he was smart enough to NOT use private messages while conspiring with EVO and the rest of the Gang of Eight. (Octopumpers?)
I also doubt MB would have been so reckless as to pump on iHub boards using aliases that could be traced to him.
What he did do on this site was knowingly throw the door open wide to EVO and other criminal conspirators, to the detriment of the iHub community and in order to widen the manipulation of the stock price. But will his actions on iHub be considered a more powerful form of manipulation than illegally juicing the volume from nominee accounts and coordinating bogus press releases?
Since all the participants in this thread are on iHub (obviously), there's been a natural tendency to shove iHub front and center in the discussion of this case. Like you, I have a feeling the crucial evidence wasn't/won't be gathered from the servers in Boogerville.
