Let's see. Monthly 64c on a $16 stock. That's 4% per month, almost 50% annual. So why couldn't Madoff do that ? His investors would have been very happy with 10% annual, and he could just skim off the rest. And still be living high in that Manhattan penthouse. Win-Win.
