It was a great barn. I was outside the new Fleet Center (which really really stinks) when they were tearing down the last corner of the old Garden. I almost cried on the spot.
The civic center here in Portland, Maine isn't all that great, but STP and Garth put on unbelievable shows here. The STP show is one of my all time favorites. While the Van Halen (they kicked off their 1991 or 1992 world tour here) and the ZZ Top 1994 (I think) were 2 of the worst I've seen.
