That's not so.. They took mostly stock for the deal and now that stock has been R/S'ed twice and is mostly worthless. Very little cash actually traded hands.
The majority of any cash or profit went to Cornell during their toxic dilution blitz.
you do not have a clue! The hacketts were duped just like everyone else. They havn't seen a penny of Tom's money either. Hacketts has been a family business. Now there is no family left to pass it down to. They had to plan for the future of the company and they got duped.
You say that they don't care. I'd like to know how you came up with that. You have no clue about how much they care. They want thier company back! Pat and Julie work non stop everyday, with out ever taking a day off. If you walk into that store in Ogdensburg you can ask for them and they will come out and greet you. Everyday! The only reason that the Hacketts stores have stayed open since Tom bought it is because the Hacketts work very hard everyday to keep things going.
You can trust me on this. I live in Ogdnesburg and I know people that are close to the situation. So before you start flaming poeple that you don't even know, perhaps you should do some homework first. You can leave the Hacketts out of this equation and lay the blame solely on Tom.
