This chart is a 30 min on the beast...the "false" signal would have been no surprise because had I been trading it at the time I would know that a long at that point was not smart because I had just been signalled to exit longs on the 30 min chart and open a short.IOW long plays on the 5 min would only be quick scalps of bullish corrections in a bearish longer term trend. The software is VTTrader charting software that you can get easily by opening a demo in CMSfx.com...I think I covered this before but I trade Oanda but only by VTTrader charts...my wife BTW trade FXCM but uses VT like I do...we dont use the platform charts because VT is far superior.If you decide to get the VT then let me know and I will give you a download for exactly what I use. On the buy only mode it signals long entry with the arrow and tells you to close the long positions with the small exit signs you see on the chart. I dont actually exit on signals that often...I usually exit at a profit I am pleased with instead and wait for next entry point.
