Welcome to the board Tommy86....one of my assistants..strongtower..is full time trader on live acct in FOREX.Several of us trade live and demo both...the demo trading is your smartest move to really fine tune and make trading rock solid for you. I need to know your charting ..I use Oanda platform but use VTTrader charts exclusively.Several others here use MT4 charting.You can get MT4 through several brokers's platform but you get VTTrader charting by opening a live or demo with CMSfx.com. I like both MT4 and VT but stayed with VT rather than be scattered between the 2..both of which are amazingly powerful charting programs.Several of us are working with Trading systems that are making a near no brainer out of trading FOREX and my latest system has proved to be a real moneymaker if traded manually..that is..if you also have technical understanding and skills to decide if signals for entry are valid. As far as technical indicators go I personally use only 3 although some of my last few posts show a 4th one at bottom of chart..that one is just an experiment.The indicators I use are IFT(Inverse Fisher Transform)...SMI(Stochastics Momentum Index) ...and ECO(Ergodic Candlestick Oscillator). I consider those 3 to be the most reliable and powerful tech indicators ever designed so I base all trading and trading systems on them.The latest system I have I call SG_PipFinder and its currently using only the IFT crossovers. If you have the capability you might give us a screenshot of a chart you are using and perhaps we can help in some way if your trading tends to be hit and miss which is a common problem.When that happens its wise to back away and reevaluate things.FOREX is too good a thing to just give up and walk away from.
