The 30 years still trades (5%), but the one most look at is the 10 years bond, now around 4.22%, lower than at this time last year, despite a half point rise in overnight fed funds.

The 30-year used to be used for calculating home mortgage interest rates, but now the 10-year is considered to be the "long bond".
