News Free agent quarterback Charlie Batch visited with officials from the Houston Texans Friday. It was the first official visit Batch has paid to a team since being released in a salary cap move by the Detroit Lions last Monday.
Views The Texans already have Kent Graham and, of course, rookie David Carr under contract so Batch would be a short-term starter at best. Of course, there aren't many NFL teams with openings at quarterback right now. Batch's best bet might be to wait for a quarterback to get injured in training camp or preseason.
