Ray Lewis has gotten a lot of negative publicity for "skipping" Baltimore's voluntary offseason workouts, and Lewis has gone public with his desire to receive $20 million in up-front cash from the team in his new deal. But Lewis recently told the Baltimore Sun he will attend both the mandatory June workout as well as training camp in July. "They [team officials] ought to stop worrying about the little things, and focus on getting our young team back to the playoffs," said Lewis of the team's displeasure with his absences. Lewis went on to challenge Brian Billick's questioning of his agent. "There have been comments about my agent from Coach Billick, but I hired the agent to get advice, and I will heed that advice," Lewis said. "Doesn't Coach Billick have an agent [Ray Anderson]? Doesn't he listen to him? Yes, he does, thank you."
Views Bottom line: Don't mess with Ray Lewis. Thank you.
