Chargers release LB Rogers

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Linebacker Sam Rogers, who had one sack in 15 games as a reserve last season, was released by the San Diego Chargers on Thursday.

Rogers was one of four former Buffalo Bills who signed with the Chargers as free agents before last season. The 32-year-old Rogers has 22 1/2 sacks in eight NFL seasons.
