You are so right. 4-5yrs back on SI QCOM board I claimed that NOK would get eaten alive by the asian manufacturers. Some of the folks I know that work for NOK here in San Diego (CDMA center) don't have much confidence in management and the quality of engineers is questionable. No chatter yet that they looking to move toward QCOM though.
Hi blimfark: I'm always afraid. Mostly of the Yankees. Just watching and waiting for NOK to whisper in my ear, "Buy me bubeleh, I look higher." If NOK has options, that mat be a thought; something to keep an eye on.
