A few things to put this in comparison. One, the population of South Korea is 50 million; we're over 300 million and have to education far more people. They graduate more people percentage-wise, but we have a 600% larger population! South Korea is a homogenous society. Here, we have to cater to every child with special needs, different cultural aspects (or subcultural to be more precise), ect. One more caveat is the fact that South Korea is only the way it is because WE MADE IT THAT WAY! If it wasn't for us, they'd have posters of North Korea's leader everywhere...lol
