if you are doing any computations on the current bar, the price and derived indicators will update with every tick. in real-time trading there's no way around that unless you always look at the previously completed bar.
Bottom line on this whole subject for me is, if you can't predict the impact of the tick on the indicator, you can't use it real time... like I can't predict what tick data will do to the Sto, for example. Hope that makes sense.
