How many hours do you spend on the boards?
You think the rest of us have all day to tag along with you?
No, this stunt of Jared's to drag out the press release as far as possible in order to generate more hype is for his benefit with some carryover to the true longs. Friday's PR is going to be after hours according to his MO. His has not shown much detail in the prior releases and has caused much speculation with his less then complete forthrightness.
Financials are not very difficult to prepare and the lack of presenting the prior FS in a business like manner shows his lack of concern for the investors. His hype of the products is great but on average his has demonstrate his strengths and weaknesses that would limit him as an effective CEO.
We all have are penchants for certain areas and dislikes for other chores that do not excite us, Jared is not a numbers sort of person. No CEO can succeed without a strong background in the ability to know the numbers inside and out.
Jared has the vision and the moxie to reach and achieve success big time but his shortcomings appear to be in his inexperience in the financials and related topics. Large corporations have the resources to perform all of the tasks of growing a business and Jared knows this fact for certain and he will merge with another in order to effect the best possible outcome for all.
I just hope he is not relishing the anxiety the board members are experiencing waiting for his release of the news. It would be akin to Vick's actions of cruel treatment to another living being. I am sure this may not be the case and some business purpose is at the heart of the matter but if I am wrong and he is pulling the strings for the fun of it then I would take that as cause to invest elsewhere.
