She must get the feeling that you are the one able to protect here against anything she thinks might be dangerous in her new environment. Very important is that you does not react negative if she wants to lick your face. That is the first sign that she really accepts you. When that occurs, go down to her level instead of letting her jump up on you. For a dog of that size it is important to stop her from raising up and placing her paws on your breast from the very start. Otherways it can be a problem later.
