Ironically, the UN and the Europeans have "diminished their global stature" by demonstrating their inability (or unwillingness) to EFFECTIVELY cope with murderous thugs and world threats.

Kosovo (couldn't succeed without U.S. $$$s and blood)
Iraq (sanctions fail...stick head in sand)
North Korea (appeasement failure episode 2, now let's make it a US problem)
Iran (Russia mettling, UN gets a big bark, but no bite)
Syria (let's blame Israel and stick heads in sand)
Sudan (what problem?)

I jsut heard Rumsfeld on CNN saying, "We've got a war going on, before you tear anything down, you'd better be damned sure what you're going to put in its place." LOL, now why didn't he think of that BEFORE invading Iraq?

I understand why they didn't do that in the case of Afghanistan, we had to get rid of the Taliban and destroy Al Qaeda. Those were priorties after 9/11. If they had focused on those things instead of invading Iraq, they would probably be handily ahead in this election. Unless they did some other bonehead thing, which seems to be the real modus operandi for this crowd. I swear these people are incompetent idiots.
