not all of Lehman's subsidiaries filed for chapter 11 reorganization
they already cut 2/3 of liabilities
unsecured creditors will have distribution according to filing, any difference would be offset by issuing more stock according to news earlier this year
There is potential for Lehman. What that is, obviously is speculative.
They have hired one darn good firm to reorganize/restructure them. Though the issues are different than the WAMU/WMI, they are reducing debt, and this firm gets paid a percentage on how much they can manage to get their liabilities reduced.
I hope folks invested in both are winners in the end!
