sabregold1999, Being right or wrong is not that important to me.
Being truthful and open, while learning something new, IS very important.
So I have NO interest is painting you as "wrong" or whatever. Sorry, but that's just not what I am about, as a person.
IMO, professing a different opinion does NOT make a person wrong. Only having a different viewpoint.
The whole right/wrong concept is antithetic to open discussion. I must be old fashion, but I always thought that's what forums were about...
IMO the vast majority of things that people claim to be "right" or "wrong" are neither right nor wrong; they're just different. The right/wrong concept is an artifact of a need, born of the ego, to advance the opinion and FORCE it to appear more credible.
You said: "You are completely wrong...". You didn't mention my message or my opinion. I am human and you referred directly to my person; not my opinion, my position, or my viewpoint.
The second you start attaching labels to the other person you completely abandon any opportunity to learn from the other person. The act of accusing can alienate them and you may open a "can or worms" for yourself. If that happens then your idea or concept carrys no weight in the mind of the reader. Only the accusation will matter or be remembered. This is Communication101.
So, on the basis of what you accused me of, your PowerPoint Presentation is completely irrelevant. It is nothing more than a prop to support your viewpoint that I am "completely wrong".
A truely open-minded individual will ALWAYS take into account their adversary's opinion. Labeling the person "wrong" is the exact opposite of that.
However, in the interest of learning, I would like to view your Powerpoint Presentation, (sincerely) but I would NOT necessarily consider it to be "fact" as you describe it, for the simple reason that you portrayed it as a "presentation", as in someone's attempt to SELL an idea or concept to an audience. True facts don't have to be sold or presented, as they "speak for themselves" and they are true at the moment they begin to exist.
Unfortunately, I am on vacation in the Islands right now and I don't have PowerPoint available. But go ahead and post it to vistaviewer@hotpop.com and I will give it a lookee in about two weeks. But since it is about batteries(supposedly) and not about RFID, don't expect too much feedback from me. I am an ex-wireless engineer. I use batteries only to drive circuits.
On the other hand, IF AIDO decided to get into batteries then I would focus more on THAT subject. You can bet the farm on that! But as far as I KNOW RIGHT NOW they are NOT into batteries as a biz. Currently, it is only a presented proposal on the table. Do I, at least, have that part "right"?
Good Luck.
