Gottfried, I look at crude prices as they affect the consumer and its ability to continue and increase its spending, if it stays around here for long it could definitely precipitate a recession.
I don't think crude i going to stay around here for too long, and another source of a possible future recession is over extended and overheated economy, which suddenly is forced into a stop (too many possible triggers to discuss fully), but I think we are still in a goldilock economy, not to hot, not too cold, so I am not expecting that for a while, yet.
Crude definitely needs to be watched.
