There was a report from a broker I believe (a month or two ago) sorry don't have a link. It basically said that they thought Genzyme should (not that they were aware of any talks) they gave the rational at 2x current price (about 20 a share) and said even if they had to go to 30 a share it would make sense.

I won't comment on my opinion :-).
