07/15/04 GIH with 2⅜” tubing, bit and scraper and drill out cement and plug at hydraulic stage collar. Clean out to 10,540’ and tag bottom. Pressure test well and had leak off. POH with tubing and bit and RIH with tubing and CIBP. Set CIBP @ 10,540’ and pressure test casing to 5000 psig. Test good. SIFN.
07/16/04 Will perforate with TCP using Master Wireline from 10,500-04; 10,060-53’ and 9,620-23’. Total of 60 holes. Frac dates set up for July 27th and 28th.
07/27/04 Fracing today and tomorrow. Currently fracing at 122 bbls per minute at 5820 psig. Treat lower stage perfs from 9532-35', 10050-53' and 10500-504' with a total of 37,098 bbls slick water plus 201,000 lb 40/70 sand + 99,800 lb 20/40 sand. Formation broke at 1784 psig. Average treating pressure of 5,851 psig at average injection rate of 122.3 bpm. ISIP = 1875 psig, frac gradient = .687 psi/ft. Finish job at 2:24 PM. Shut-in and prepare to perf upper stage. After 1st stage frac rig down Schlumberger and rig up Procoil and Master Wireline. RIH with ecoil , Halliburton frac plug and guns to 9250' and set 5 1/2" frac plug at 9250'. Plug set, tested to 5000 psi and tested good. Perf from 9180'-84' (24 holes), 8740'-43' (20 holes) and 8300'-03' (16 holes) with .43" diameter holes. Upper gun did not fire. POH with ecoil and rearm gun. RIH with ecoil and shot upper set of perfs. Shut well in at 3:00 am with 1568 psig on casing.
07/28/04 2nd Stage Frac : Rig up Schlumberger and start pumping at 7:00 am. Pump a total of 37,641 bbls slick water plus 201,000 lb 40/70 sand plus 100,920 lb 20/40 sand at an average rate of 131.2 bpm at average pressure of 5,816 psig. Job completed at 12:30 pm. ISIP = 1925 psig, 5 min = 1750 psig, 10 min = 1713 psig, 15 min = 1694 psig. Final frac gradient = .69 psig/ft. Shut in and rig down Schlumberger. Gas show at 3:00 AM. Open well up with 20/64” choke to start flow back at 4:00 pm with 1,480 psig on well.
07/29/04 3:00 PM Gas increasing.
4:00 PM Casing Pressure: 820#, 28/64” choke. No sand back.
08/01/04 Well was shut-in at 9:30 PM Sunday night due to large amounts of gas flow. Tubing pressure 1410 psig and casing pressure 2550 psig. 15 minute build up to 1850 psig tubing pressure and 2575 psig casing pressure. Hooking up flowline and gas meter Monday and Tuesday.
08/02/04 Load recovery to shut-in was 11.8% of total load pumped.
08/04/04 Final hook up being performed on well today. Well should be producing by this afternoon.

I like the " 8-1-04" note " due to large amounts of gas flow"
one of my wells in the Barnett shale.
May we have a cold winter !
