We can pile on a multitude of reasons why the market is playing with a crash but as you write above, a crash becoming a reality is about a 100-1 chance at this time.
Secretary of the Treasury has his orders we can be assured.
After the election and as we move on into 2005 we will then see the major unraveling, imo.
I carry a 4kshare NDX 2-1 short, that is aging, the just in case---i am actually hoping to get over 12 months age on my initial position.
What we are however seeing here, this market is genuinely a market that will fail severely not very long after the election stakes are finished,imo; and that is REGARDLESS who wins.
