every pair has a spread which is why everytime you enter a trade you are in the red. when you get in the black it means you have covered the spread

example

E/U has a spread of 2 pips. to get 1 pip it has to move 3 pips which is why I trade from oanda because they have lowest spreads. e/u is usualy 1 to .9 pips

If the spread is 2 pips and you enter a trade then you are 2 pips in the hole..if it moves your way 3 pips then 1 pip is profit...if it moved 50 pips then 48 pips is your profit!
