Many Republicans are part of the Party because that's what they've been brought up as,
The more reasonable ones have left the party...thus the overwhelming victory for the dems.
What's left behind are the fanatical Palin/Perry/Sanford supporters.
I can only determine who is leading the repub party by who they elected to be head of the RNC, Michael Steele. And a bigger loony-toone fruitcake, I have yet to see.
