"Please get off your pedestal........as if you didn't know the truth of what I'm saying. You wan to shift the responsibility onto the world rather than acknowledge the situation we find ourselves in thru no fault of our own.
Ideals are not reality and work only in comic books and the Bible. The arrogance of what you SHOULD do! We are violent. That's a fact! And no amount of rhetoric or good intentions changes that."

I am not placing myself on a pedestal by any means. How often have I said here that we all sin against God many times each day, and that includes me. I am trying to tell you what God expects, not what mlsoft expects. I am responsible for me, and me alone. What you do is between you and God -- I have no part in it whatsoever.
When you say that we find ourselves in the situation through no fault of our own, you imply that it is somehow God's fault. Most assuredly, that is not the case. One can argue that he has little control over the thought processes, and for the sake of argument, I will not contest that claim, but we do have control over what we do -- no one can stand before God and claim that.

You are wrong. Remember please that I am not the one who says we should act in this manner -- it is God, not me, so "arrogance" has nothing to do with it. The problem is not that we are violent -- the problem is that we, all of us, from the best to the worst, are sinful. That is why all of us, from the best to the worst, need a Savior, and that is why God has made the provision for that Savior available to all of us at no material cost to ourselves. All we have to do is believe it and accept it, making Jesus our Lord and Savior.
