I cannot speak specifically about E*Trade, however I was concerned enough about not seeing my B's that I called the Transfer Agent 303.282.4800 to ensure that they indeed showed me or the DTC Street name Charels Schwab & Co.Inc.on the approved list. The response I got was not good! They do not have the Shareholder list from Schawb on the approved list. Further inquiry suggested that perhaps Schwab had not paid the fee which others have seen hit their accounts with other brokerages. (BTW I asked about the fee and Schwab explained that the fee is not assesed to my account until the acutal pay date of the shares and upon shares distribution! I immediately spoke with Schwab and they are looking into the matter. I will also be calling back and forth between the Transfer Agent my Brokerage until I am satisfied that I am on the approved share holders list.
I would strongly suggest that you check to ensure that the street name of your brokerage is on the approved list by calling the transfer agent to confirm!
